1. What this policy covers
1.1 This Cookie Policy explains what is stored on your device when you use this website, and the choices you have about it. It should be read alongside our Privacy Notice.
1.2 Our banner calls them biscuits. Legally, they are cookies. Everything below is the formal version.
2. Cookies we set ourselves
2.1 This website sets no cookies of its own for browsing, and carries no advertising or cross-site tracking.
2.2 When you make a choice on our cookie banner, that choice is stored in your browser's local storage (a single entry named rwCookies) so we don't ask you again. It contains only the word “all” or “essential”, identifies nobody, and never leaves your device.
2.3 Our hosting platform (Cloudflare) may set strictly necessary cookies for security purposes — for example to distinguish humans from automated traffic. These are essential for the site to operate safely and cannot be switched off.
3. Embedded services
3.1 Google Maps. The maps on our contact and location pages are embedded from Google. When a map loads, Google may set its own cookies under its own policy. Maps therefore load only if you chose “Allow embeds” on the banner, or when you press the load button on the map itself.
3.2 Google Analytics. With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand which pages help visitors and which don't. It loads only if you choose “Go on then” on the banner, sets cookies beginning _ga, and reports aggregate usage to us — pages viewed, roughly where from, on what kind of device. Choose “Better not” and it never loads at all.
3.3 Google Fonts. The typefaces on this site are served by Google Fonts, which does not set cookies; Google processes the request's IP address to deliver the file.
3.4 Client portal. The portal at www.roseworth.me is a separate service with its own log-in and its own cookie arrangements, presented within the portal.
3.5 The calculators and document generators on this site run entirely in your browser and transmit nothing to us or anyone else.
